The UK’s leading electrical trade body, The Electrical Contractors Association, has awarded family owned company Dodd Group with the Large Company of the Year accolade at the annual ECA Awards ceremony at the ICC in Birmingham. Dodd Group collected their trophy in front of a packed audience following the ECA’s gala dinner. The ECA Awards are designed to recognise the ECA Members who in some way demonstrate the very highest standard in their operation.
Dodd Group employs over 500 staff, including over 200 electricians. The family run business says they strive to combine improved competence and professionalism and are committed to the health and safety of their employees and the satisfaction of their customers.
On winning the Large Company of the Year Award, Dodd Group’s Managing Director John Kavanagh said:
“We are delighted and honoured to be recognised by one of our own trade bodies for the bodies for the efforts that we have made within the industry. Our success has been down to the hard work and commitment of our staff who continually strive to deliver high quality, safe projects and they demonstrate the very highest standards within the electrical industry.”
The award was presented to Dodd Group at the ECA’s annual gala dinner by TV and radio personlaity, journalist and politician, Gyles Brandreth.
